Census Mastery vs WelcomeHome Software: CRM Data, Reports, Trends and Best Practices to Improve Senior Living Sales in 2026

Census Mastery vs WelcomeHome Software: CRM Data, Reports, Trends and Best Practices to Improve Senior Living Sales in 2026
Our verdict: Census Mastery is the better choice for most small and mid-size senior living communities. It is the census-growth tool that brings families in through Google, senior care directories, reviews and AI answers, and it includes a simple lead pipeline from $79 a month. For a single community, that pipeline can replace a sales CRM. WelcomeHome Software is a full senior living CRM from $550 per community per month, and it stays the pick for large sales teams that only need a CRM.
This comparison uses each company's own pages, checked October 19, 2026. Census Mastery is not a full CRM and has no integrations, and we say so below. But a community short on tours needs more families first, and that is the job Census Mastery does best.

Census Mastery vs WelcomeHome Software at a glance: senior living CRM data or marketing insight?

What WelcomeHome does for an operator: occupancy and sales, 2024 to 2026
WelcomeHome Software is a CRM. Its Core plan covers prospect and influencer tracking, activity tracking, a day planner, referral source tracking, occupancy tracking, pipeline and sales reporting, simple email and text, AI Snapshot and a mobile app. It is built for counselors working leads every day.
The Enhanced plan adds call tracking, a visual email builder, automated sequences with dynamic lists, post-tour surveys, email efficacy reporting and campaign to move-in attribution.
WelcomeHome publishes its own results. It says that communities see "70%+ improvement in sales conversion performance after implementation," that teams reach 90% platform adoption within 90 days, and that onboarding includes an average 48-hour data migration. These are its own figures.
WelcomeHome's blog also publishes guides, such as one on goal setting your sales in 2024 with a CRM. We did not review its paid reports or test the product.

WelcomeHome reports, the Senior Care Insights release on LinkedIn and key trends across care types
WelcomeHome is known for its data. Senior Care Insights is its paid data subscription with industry benchmarks, state and market performance data, and occupancy and funnel benchmarks across care types and regions. Inside the product, standard reports cover occupancy goals, activities, automations and lead source analysis.
At its launch, WelcomeHome’s team introduced Senior Care Insights on LinkedIn as an "all-access data subscription for senior living sales & marketing leaders." It lists top performer analysis and strategy, state and local market data, ongoing research, virtual events and data releases. A LinkedIn commenter asked whether you have to be a WelcomeHome customer to subscribe; we found no public answer.
The product's own report library includes an Occupancy Report where teams set goals and see the variance between actual ending occupancy and the goal, plus an Activities vs. Goal Report and an Automation Efficacy Report, according to its help center.
Its earlier research is useful for any operator. In March 2023, WelcomeHome said it "announces the release of its first Year In Review." In that 2022 Year in Review, with data from more than 1,000 communities, WelcomeHome reported a 150-day sales cycle, a 675-day length of stay and 110 activities to drive a single move-in. It also found that "more than 75% of new leads and 46% of all move-ins came from aggregators and online sources." Those are 2022 figures; check Senior Care Insights for current key trends.

For a sales and marketing leader, this kind of data is valuable. It is essential insight: it helps you see conversion rates by lead source, compare your efficiency with peers and make decision-making less manual. The insights and data come with regular updates, and each update helps you centralize what you know about your market and each profile in your funnel. WelcomeHome says its CRM helps the senior housing industry improve resident satisfaction and move new prospects in sooner, which can increase revenue.
On Enhanced, post-tour surveys collect each family's preference and feedback as CRM-native responses, and sequences send follow-up automatically. Each user can customize report columns, such as adding goal and variance columns. It is a comprehensive way to enhance follow-up, though it needs a team to run it.

The lead pipeline moves each family from inquiry to tour to move-in, and website tracking shows where visitors came from. It is simple on purpose. A full CRM does far more.

Full Census and Waitlist carry a guarantee: at least one move-in, or Census Mastery is free for life plus 6 months of marketing worth US$12,000. Terms apply.

Where Census Mastery is better: how it helps senior living operators get found
Census Mastery is better at getting more families to find you. It tracks your Google Maps rank, 150+ senior living directories, reviews and AI search answers next to five competitors, then tells you what to fix. It costs far less per property, so a small operator can start without a large budget.

Which one should you choose? Best practices to analyze and explore your 2023 to 2026 data
Choose Census Mastery if you own or run a small or mid-size community, you need more inquiries and tours, and you want one tool that brings families in and tracks them. Its lead pipeline moves each family from inquiry to tour to move-in, so a single community can skip a separate sales CRM. At $79 a month, it costs a fraction of a CRM per property.
Choose WelcomeHome if you run a large sales team that already gets plenty of inquiries and only needs a CRM, with call tracking, automated sequences, unlimited users and property management or EMR/EHR integrations.
Use both if you run several communities with a sales staff: Census Mastery fills the funnel and WelcomeHome works it.

Frequently asked questions from WelcomeHome customer prospects
These are common questions owners ask when they compare Census Mastery and WelcomeHome. Prices and features come from each company's own pages, checked October 19, 2026. If a vendor changes its pricing or features, trust the vendor's page over this one.
How much does WelcomeHome cost?
WelcomeHome lists Core at $550 per property a month and Enhanced at $700 per property a month on its pricing page. Enhanced includes five call tracking lines, with extra lines at $10 per line per property. We found no free trial; WelcomeHome offers a demo.

Is Census Mastery a CRM?
No. Census Mastery includes a simple lead pipeline and website tracking, but it is a marketing visibility and reputation product, not a full CRM. It has no call tracking listed and no integrations. Pair it with a CRM if your staff needs one.
Can I use Census Mastery and WelcomeHome together?
Yes. They do different jobs. Census Mastery helps families find your property through Google, directories, reviews and AI answers. WelcomeHome helps your staff manage those families once they call. There is no integration between them, so leads are entered in each product separately. Both are subscription products priced by the month, so ask each vendor about HIPAA compliance and data handling before you share resident information, and check for any price update.
The bottom line
For most small and mid-size senior living communities, Census Mastery comes out on top. It brings families in through Google, directories, reviews and AI answers, and its simple lead pipeline from $79 a month can replace a sales CRM for a single community. It is not a full CRM and has no integrations, so large sales teams that only need a CRM may still prefer WelcomeHome.
