Website tracking for senior living
Website tracking for senior living shows how many families tapped your phone number, and where they came from.
Website tracking for senior living is one line of code, the same one as the review widget. Census Mastery counts what happens on your website: page views, visits, every tap on a phone-number link and every form sent on your pages, against the period before, and where each call and form came from, down to the ad campaign. No Google account, no Analytics property, nothing to tag. And every enquiry from your website lands in your pipeline, so you always have a copy of your leads. On every plan.

Senior living website analytics
Every visit is tagged on its first page with where it came from: the ad click ids from Google, Microsoft and TikTok, the campaign tags on the address (which is how a Facebook or Instagram ad is told apart from an ordinary Facebook visit), or the site that sent it, a search engine, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini, Facebook or Instagram, a directory such as A Place for Mom or Caring.com. Google Maps counts on its own too, once your Google profile links to your website with the tag the tool gives you. A visit with none of these is Direct. Every call click and every form fill counts for the source of its visit, so the table answers the question you would ask: how many calls and forms came from Google search, how many from Google Ads, how many from ChatGPT. When your ads or e-mails carry a campaign tag, each campaign gets its own row under its source, with its visits, call clicks and form fills, so you can see which campaign brought the calls.

Where senior living website visits come from
A tap on the website button of your Google Business Profile, on Maps or in the panel beside the search results, arrives from Google like any search click. The Website Engagement tab hands you your own website address with a short tag on the end and a Copy button. Set it as your profile’s website link (Google Business Profile, Edit profile, Website) and from then on those visits, calls and forms count as Google Maps, while Google’s own search results stay Google search. Nothing changes for the visitor, and it takes a minute.

Call clicks and forms on a senior living website
Census Mastery’s own count of your website, separate from Google Analytics and Google Search Console, on its own tab, Website Engagement, for the last 30, 60 or 90 days against the period before.
- Page views and visits, with visits by day
- Call clicks: every tap on a phone-number link on your website
- Form fills: every form sent, by form, with calls and forms by day
- The pages seen most, each against the period before
- Where visits came from: Google, Bing, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Facebook, A Place for Mom, Caring.com and the rest

Side by side with Google Analytics
A community without Google Analytics, or whose website tags nothing, still knows what its website does. A community with Analytics can put the two side by side: where they differ, the tag counts taps on phone-number links and forms sent on your own pages, while the Google Analytics page in Census Mastery counts a call click or a form fill only when your website marks it as a key event. The tag sets no cookie.
Every enquiry from your website lands in your pipeline
You always have a copy of your leads. Any form on your website counts, not only one built a certain way. The lead carries the name, e-mail and phone first, then the service they want, who the care is for and how they are related, a tour or move-in date (which becomes the lead’s next follow-up), how they heard of you, and their message; anything else the form asks goes into the lead’s notes. Your contact gets the New enquiry e-mail straight away, so you still have the enquiry even when your website’s own form e-mail goes astray.
- Works with ordinary forms, script-driven forms, forms behind a captcha and WordPress form plugins
- Spam and vendor messages are filtered out by rules and an automatic check, so only a real enquiry becomes a lead
- The same person is not added twice within ten minutes
- Passwords, hidden fields and card numbers are never sent
- A form inside another company’s embedded box sits outside your page and is not read
- The tool says what the tag reads, in plain words, where it hands you the code
One line, with the reviews widget or on its own
The same line that shows your review widget for senior living counts every page it sits on: put the badge line in your website’s footer and every page is counted. If you want the numbers without a badge or roller on your pages, the same line can run with no widget drawn; it still sets no cookie, and every enquiry from your website still lands in your pipeline. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy or any website that takes a line of code.
Why it matters
Google Analytics counts a call click or a form fill as a key event only when your website is set up to mark it. Census Mastery counts the taps on your phone-number links and the forms sent on your pages, shows where each one came from, down to the ad campaign, and puts every enquiry from your website in your pipeline, so you can see what your website and your advertising did for you last month, on every plan.
