NiceJob Alternatives: 9 Options for Assisted Living and Senior Living Owners (2026)

NiceJob Alternatives: 9 Options for Assisted Living and Senior Living Owners (2026)
Our verdict: Census Mastery is the #1 NiceJob alternative for senior living communities. It is built only for senior living and brings families in through Google, senior directories, reviews and AI answers, with a simple lead pipeline on every plan, from $79 a month. NiceJob itself stays a good pick for home services businesses that want referral campaigns and a free trial.
The best NiceJob alternatives for senior living in 2026 are Census Mastery if you want senior directories, competitors and AI answers in one place, GatherUp for simple review requests with NPS, RightResponse AI for low cost AI replies, and Podium if your team needs phones and texting in one inbox.
NiceJob is a good review tool for small businesses. Its own pages show it is built for home services and other local businesses, with integrations like Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceTitan. If you run an assisted living or memory care community, you may want something that knows A Place for Mom from a plumbing invoice. Here are nine alternatives to NiceJob with real prices, plus an honest section on where NiceJob is still the better pick.
I built Census Mastery, so it is on this list. Every other vendor fact comes from that vendor's own public pages, checked on October 19, 2026, with links so you can check me.

Why senior living owners look for a NiceJob alternative in 2026
Senior living owners look for a NiceJob alternative because NiceJob is built around home service jobs, not move-ins. It connects to field service software, sells referrals and gifts, and I found no senior directory coverage on its pages. Its review collection is solid, but senior care needs directories, privacy-safe replies and local competitors.
Here is what NiceJob publishes. Its pricing page lists Starter at $75 a month with SMS and email review requests, Social Proof widgets, Social Sharing to Facebook and X, a Team Leaderboard and a Microsite. Pro at $125 adds Repeats, Referrals, Broadcasts, AI Replies, Gifts, NPS Surveys and Competitive Intel. Gifts need Jobber or QuickBooks. There are no contracts and a 14-day free trial.
NiceJob's company info page says it was founded in 2017 in London, Ontario, Canada, has been owned by Paystone since October 2021 and serves 7,000+ businesses. It lists integrations with Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, HubSpot and Zapier, and says it is not a CRM. That is a great fit for a roofer who closes a job and wants a Google review the same day. A family moving Mom into memory care is a longer, more private story.

What to look for in alternatives to NiceJob: review platforms, CRM and social proof widgets
Look for review platforms that cover Google and the senior directories families read, send review requests by SMS and email to every family, draft replies that never confirm a resident, and show how you compare with local competitors. Then check price, contract terms and whether you can buy without a long sales cycle.
Good review management software should help you collect reviews, highlight your best reviews and improve customer satisfaction, not just send texts. Here is the short list I compared every NiceJob alternative on:
- Review collection. Automated review requests by text and email, with a reminder, sent to every family the same way.
- Senior directories. Google review counts matter, but families also read A Place for Mom, Caring.com, Seniorly and SeniorAdvisor.
- Safe replies. AI-powered replies that a person checks, and that never confirm someone lives with you.
- Social proof. A widget that shows your best reviews on your website. NiceJob calls these Social Proof widgets.
- Competitors and Google Business Profile. Where you rank in Google Maps and how your reviews stack up nearby.
- Price and terms. A real monthly price, a trial or money-back guarantee, and no long contract.
- Dashboard and alerts. One dashboard with every customer review, and an alert when a low rating comes in.
Online reputation management is broader than review management, and good senior living reputation management covers both. A great Google rating does not help much if your Caring.com page shows the wrong phone number or ChatGPT never mentions you.

1. Census Mastery: the NiceJob alternative built only for senior living
Census Mastery is a senior living management solution for reviews and census from $79 a month. It scores your community out of 100, audits 150+ senior directories, compares you with five local competitors, maps your Google rank and tracks what six AI engines say. Review requests by text, AI review replies and family surveys start at $147.
What you get, by plan, from our Census Mastery pricing page:
- Census Watch, $79 a month, one community. The Census Score, 150+ directories, the reviews inbox, five competitors, Google Maps rank on three search terms monthly, the senior living CRM, the reviews widget, a review link and QR card, and website tracking.
- Full Census, $147 a month, up to three communities. Adds AI review replies, unlimited email review requests, 200 texts, two-way texting from a local number, family surveys and AI visibility across six engines.
- Waitlist, $297 a month, seven communities, then $35 each. Ten search terms on an 11 by 11 grid every week and 500 texts.

The reviews widget is our answer to NiceJob's Social Proof widgets. It shows reviews from Google, Seniorly, A Place for Mom, Caring.com, SeniorAdvisor and Yelp on your site with one line of code. Texting and review requests include a 30-day no-repeat guard, a direct review link for each site and a QR card for the front desk. No incentives, ever. Both sit inside our senior living reputation management tools, next to the reviews inbox and directory checks.
The guarantee on Full Census and Waitlist: at least one move-in, or you get Census Mastery free for life plus 6 months of marketing worth US$12,000. Terms apply.
Where it falls short of NiceJob: no trial, no referral program, no gifts, no social sharing tools, no team leaderboard and no Jobber or QuickBooks integrations. It also has no unified inbox, webchat or payments.
2. GatherUp: review requests and customer feedback on published pricing
GatherUp is review and customer feedback software with clear pricing: $99 a month for one location, down to $60 per location at scale, with a 14-day trial. It sends requests by SMS and email, runs Net Promoter Score surveys and monitors reviews on 100 plus sites. It is not built for senior living.
Its pricing page lists up to 300 texts and 3,000 emails per location a month, QR codes and a $40 Listings Hub add-on. Its homepage calls review gating a risky tactic, which I agree with. If you liked NiceJob's simple requests and NPS Surveys, GatherUp is the closest like-for-like swap on published pricing. See Census Mastery vs GatherUp for the head-to-head.
3. RightResponse AI: low cost AI review replies
RightResponse AI is an AI review response platform with a senior living page and low published prices: $10 per location a month pay as you go, then $19, $29 and $44 tiers. Pro adds texted requests, Google Maps rank tracking and competitor analysis. A trial is offered.
From its pricing page: Core includes 100 AI review responses and 1,000 email requests a month. Pro includes 200 responses, 2,000 emails plus 200 texts, and map rank tracking. It also lists a PHI Guard feature and a Done For You managed service. Its senior living page suggests asking after a real milestone like a completed move-in. If NiceJob's AI Replies were the main draw, this is a cheaper way to get plus AI replies on every review.

4. ReputeMap: budget Google review management
ReputeMap is Google review management at flat prices from $19 a month for one location up to $189 a month for 200 locations. There is a 14-day trial with a card required, no sales call and no contract. Its senior living page gets the privacy rules right.
ReputeMap's senior living page says to ask every family for an honest review and never confirm that someone is or was a resident. Its pricing page lists six plans with no per-location fees. It focuses on Google, so there is no directory audit and no texting inbox. For an owner who only wants new reviews on Google, it is the cheapest pick here.
5. Podium: the bigger messaging platform
Podium is a messaging and lead conversion platform with review management built in. It publishes Core at $399 a month and Pro at $599, with Signature on a custom quote. It is strongest at texting, phones, webchat and fast lead response. I found no senior living page on its site.
Podium's pricing page shows review management with AI responses and a website chat widget on Core, plus add-on fees like $5 per extra number and a $5 10DLC fee per US location. If your team wants one inbox for every text, call and review, Podium is a big step up from NiceJob. If you need senior directories, it does not cover them. More options in Podium alternatives.
6. Birdeye: the all-in-one platform for big groups
Birdeye is a customer experience platform for multi-location brands with a dedicated senior living page. It covers reviews, listings, surveys, webchat, payments, AI search tracking and automatic competitor detection. It does not publish prices; a third-party tracker estimates $299 to $449 per location a month.
Birdeye's senior living page shows A Place for Mom and Caring.com among connected sites, and its AI search page describes tracking in AI engines. The price estimate is from CostBench, verified August 26, 2026, and is not a Birdeye figure. If you are outgrowing NiceJob across many communities, Birdeye is where most big groups look next. Birdeye or NiceJob is a choice between an enterprise suite and a simple tool.

7. BrightLocal: local SEO and listings
BrightLocal is a local SEO platform built for agencies and multi-location brands, and used mostly by agencies. For one location, Track costs $41 a month or $31 billed yearly, Manage $54 or $40, and Grow $65 or $49. Review monitoring and requests come only on Grow. It suits owners or agencies who already know local SEO.
BrightLocal's pricing page says Track includes a local AI visibility tracker, rank tracking and a geo-grid map for up to five keywords. Manage adds listing sync. If NiceJob gave you reviews but your online reputation in Google Maps still ranks poorly, BrightLocal covers the SEO side NiceJob does not. It does not cover senior directories.
8. Broadly: the done-for-you AI front desk
Broadly is an AI platform for local service businesses. Its AI Workforce package costs $799 a month and covers an AI receptionist, missed call text-back, review asks and responses, social posts, a website, listings on 70 plus sites and email and SMS campaigns, all set up by its team.
Broadly's pricing page says more than 16,000 local pros use it. Like NiceJob, it was made for home service and local business work, and its customer stories feature auto glass, plumbing and pet care. If you want AI agents to answer the phone as well as ask for reviews, it goes much further than NiceJob. There is no senior directory audit on its pages.
9. Weave: phones and texting for practices
Weave is a phone and texting platform built for healthcare practices like dental, medical, veterinary and optometry offices. Its pricing page says plans start from $199 a month. It includes VoIP phones, two-way texting, missed call texting, reviews, email marketing and payments.
From Weave's pricing page, its integrations focus on dental, veterinary, medical and optometry software. If what you really want is better phones with review asks on the side, Weave does that. It was not built for senior living, and reviews are a small part of the package.
Where NiceJob is still better for local businesses: referrals, a social proof widget and the trial
NiceJob is still better for local businesses that want referrals, repeat business, gifts and social sharing on top of review asks, and that run Jobber, Housecall Pro or QuickBooks. It is also easy to try: a $75 Starter plan, no contracts and a 14-day trial.

- Referrals and Repeats. On Pro, NiceJob runs referral and repeat customer campaigns. Census Mastery has neither.
- Gifts. Thank-you gifts on Pro, which need Jobber or QuickBooks.
- Social Sharing. Starter shares your new reviews to Facebook and X. Census Mastery has no social tools.
- Team Leaderboard. A friendly way to get staff asking for reviews.
- Integrations. Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, QuickBooks, HubSpot and Zapier.
- Trial. 14 days. Census Mastery has no trial, only a 30-day money-back guarantee.
If you run a home care agency that already uses one of those field service tools, it can make sense to choose NiceJob. Its referral and repeat tools are built for customer retention, and they keep your customer data in the tools you already run.
Pricing compared: top alternatives vs NiceJob
For one location, NiceJob's Starter at $75 a month is cheaper than Census Mastery's $79 and GatherUp's $99, and far below Podium's $399. RightResponse AI and ReputeMap cost less. Where a vendor quotes privately, ask for the full cost of every add-on in writing before you sign.

NiceJob's multi-location pricing is quoted, and its pages say those plans come with contracts. More detail is in NiceJob pricing explained.
How to choose the best NiceJob alternative for your community
Our pick: Census Mastery first for most senior living owners. It is not a full CRM and has no integrations, so use the options below when you need something it does not do.
Choose by the job you need done. For senior directories, competitors, Maps rank and AI answers, pick Census Mastery. For simple review requests with NPS, GatherUp. For cheap AI replies, RightResponse AI. For Google only, ReputeMap. For phones and texting, Podium. For many locations, Birdeye.

Five questions to ask every vendor:
- Do you cover A Place for Mom, Caring.com, Seniorly and SeniorAdvisor, or only Google and Facebook reviews?
- Will your AI replies ever confirm that a reviewer's parent lives with us?
- Who gets the review request: every family, or only the happy ones?
- Is it monthly, and what happens to my data if I leave?
- What does it cost for my exact number of communities, with every add-on?
For the full field, see best reputation management software for senior living and senior living reputation management software.
How to get new reviews and positive reviews the right way, whichever tool you pick
Ask every family for a review, the same way, at a natural moment like 30 days after move-in. Send one text with a direct link and one reminder. Never offer a gift for a review. Reply to every review, positive reviews and negative reviews alike, without confirming anyone lives with you.

Sending only happy families to Google is review gating, and Google does not allow it. A survey is a good way to catch a problem early and call a family back the same day. It is not a filter for who gets a request. Reviews are authentic only when every family gets the same chance to write one. That helps build trust with the next family, because families use reviews to make informed purchase decisions about care.
How I researched these NiceJob alternatives, from vendor pages to Trustpilot and G2
I checked every vendor claim against that vendor's public pages on October 19, 2026, and linked each one. The only third-party price is Birdeye's, and it is labeled as an estimate with its source and date. No vendor paid to be listed, and none reviewed this post.
"Not found" means I did not find it on their public pages, not that it can never exist. Read real user reviews on G2, Capterra, Trustpilot or Software Advice before you sign with anyone, and look for reviews from other senior living operators. User reviews from your own industry are worth the most.
NiceJob alternatives: frequently asked questions

Who are NiceJob's main competitors? Common NiceJob competitors include Podium, Birdeye, GatherUp, Broadly and BrightLocal. For senior living, also Census Mastery and RightResponse AI.
Does NiceJob work for senior living? It can ask for reviews for any business. Its pages focus on home services and field service software, and I found no senior directory coverage.
Do I need a CRM to use NiceJob? No. NiceJob says it is not a CRM and connects to tools like Jobber, HubSpot and Zapier. Census Mastery includes a simple lead pipeline on every plan.

The bottom line on NiceJob alternatives
Census Mastery is the #1 NiceJob alternative for senior living communities: senior living depth, published prices from $79 a month and month to month terms. It is not a full CRM and has no integrations. NiceJob remains a solid, simple review tool for home services.
NiceJob is a solid, simple review tool, especially for home services. Most senior living owners need more than review texts: they need to know what families see on Google and the senior directories, how they compare with the community down the road, and what to fix this month.
